Meals from the Heart_RMH Pgh_Logo_2018-01

After a three-year hiatus, we are thrilled to welcome back volunteers into the House on a limited basis. We have truly missed having you at the Charity and look forward to seeing your smiling faces. At this time, volunteer on-site opportunities are primarily focused on the meal program.

The Charity remains committed to the health and safety of its families, volunteers and staff. The following guidelines have been established for in person volunteering:

  • Groups are allowed up to a maximum of six individuals at one time.
  • All volunteers must be 18 or older.
  • Volunteers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Provide A Meal

Come to Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh to cook a meal for our families and help ease their burden of having to be in the kitchen instead of their child’s bedside.

Volunteers can provide breakfast, lunch, or dinner; are free to make menu decisions, and have the full use of our commercial kitchen. As a reminder, no food can be prepared or cooked at home.

To learn more or to schedule your meal, please contact Morgan Knox at 412-246-1103 or at

Sponsor A Meal
If you can’t come in and make a meal, you can still support this important need by donating to the Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh Meal Fund. These donations are used to order catering on days that we do not have a meal previously scheduled.  To make your meal fund donation, please click on donate and direct your donation to “Donate A Meal – Pittsburgh”.
