The Giving Hearts Award is presented each year to an individual or group as an expression of the Charity’s gratitude for significant service, advocacy and and philanthropic support over the years.
Founded 45 years ago on the belief that no child should ever be alone when they are facing a medical crisis, a small group of determined individuals worked tirelessly to establish the Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh on July 10, 1979. It was the seventh House to open in the world. During the Red Shoe Ball, these Founders will be recognized for their commitment to the mission and bringing a House to our city.

Music and Dancing – Enjoy the sounds of the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s and dance to the music of No Bad JuJu.
Cork Pull: Discover a new favorite! $25 will get you a mystery bottle of wine or champagne!
Cheer Wagon – Take a shot at going home with a wagon full of cheer, including (list examples). $25 per chance and you just may be rolling out of the evening, ready for your next party!
Photo Booth – Take a moment to document the evening by visiting our photo booth, featuring props from the decades.

Getting to the event center from Valet:
- Enter through the main doors and proceed through security – VALID ID REQUIRED.
- Follow the left wall toward the Drum Bar.
- Upon reaching the Drum Bar, take the escalators or elevator to the 2nd floor.
- Exit escalators or elevators and follow signage down the long hallway to the Event Center.
Getting to the event center from Parking Garage:
- Take parking garage elevators to Casino.
- Exit elevator and proceed through security – VALID ID REQUIRED.
- Follow overhead signage toward the Drum Bar.
- Take the escalators or elevator to the 2nd floor.
- Exit escalators or elevators and follow signage along the long hallway to the Event Center.
- Cocktail attire, black-tie optional.
- For a smooth registration process and easy check-out at the end of the evening, please make sure to include your credit card and cell phone number when registering.
- All guests must be 21+. All those participating in the wine pull and cheer wagon raffle must also be 21+.
