A Special Message Regarding Our Volunteer Programs

In response to the ongoing developments related to COVID-19, we have had to temporarily suspend our on-site volunteer programs. However, you can stay involved with our charity by volunteering off-site in the following ways.

Sponsor a Meal

There are few things as comforting as a hot meal at the end of a long day. Below are the ways you can help provide a meal to the families we serve.

  • Support your local restaurants by donating a take-out meal to be delivered to Ronald McDonald House Morgantown. You can contact the restaurant/catering company of your choice and schedule a delivery. We can work together to pick a date on our meal calendar.
  • Donate ingredients as a part of our Rapid Meals, Homecooked Program. You would gather the ingredients for your favorite recipe and coordinate a date to drop off your meal. Once items have been delivered, staff will prepare the meal for families to enjoy.
  • You can donate towards a meal directly by donating here and selecting “donate a meal – Morgantown” An automatic thank you/tax letter will be emailed to you after donation.
  • Donate gift cards to restaurants and/or grocery stores in our area to provide a meal for our families

**Just a reminder that no food can be prepared or cooked at home

P.O.P Fundraiser

Hosting your own fundraiser is a wonderful way to support the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh and Morgantown and now you can do it through our Projects of Passion (P.O.P.) Program. All you have to do is take your passion and turn it into a fundraiser. Be as creative as you want, work with a group or individually. Learn more about  P.O.P. Fundraisers.

Pull Tab Program

Schools, offices, community groups, families, and individuals can help our charity by collecting aluminum pull tabs. The tabs can be taken to local scrap metal yard, weighed and the money collected can be donated to our charity. The tabs can also be dropped off at our House any day of the week between 9 am and 9 pm. All donations will be curbside until further notice to promote social distancing.
